- RESOLUTION 9-16
- Overture 9-11 (CW, 471–73)
- WHEREAS, the Board of Directors (BOD) desires to enhance the coordination and efficiency of the Synod’s mission
- operations to better align the responsibility of the Board for National Mission (BNM) and Board for International Mission
- (BIM) with the authority given to the BNM and BIM, and enhance the ability of the BNM and BIM to better advance the
- Synod’s operations both within the United States and worldwide; therefore be it
- Resolved, That the BOD, BNM, BIM, and the Chief Mission Officer together review Overture 9-11 and recommend
- structural changes to the Synod convention to accomplish those goals; and be it further
- Resolved, That they bring these recommendations to the 2029 Synod convention.
