RESOLUTION 10-07 Overtures 10-07, 11, 18–19, 26, 33 (CW, 504, 506, 511, 514, 519)3
WHEREAS, The floor committee has considered all overtures assigned to it and has concluded, for various reasons, that certain overtures should be declined; therefore be it
Resolved, That the following overtures be respectfully declined for the reasons given:

Ov. 10-07 To Establish an Independent Appeals Panel in Cases Involving the President’s Decisions Action called for is addressed by Bylaws 2.14.9 and 2.14.9.1
Ov. 10-11 To Amend Bylaw 4.4.6 (c) to Require Reporting Complaints to Subjects Overture provides insufficient rationale of theology and practice for consideration
Ov. 10-18 To Require No One to Participate in the Dispute Resolution Process Overture contravenes Bylaw 1.10.2 and contains inaccurate or confusing information
Ov. 10-19 To Allow Parties to Delay Hearing to Await Commission Opinion Action called for is addressed by Bylaw 1.10.18.1 (h)(2)
Ov. 10-26 To Amend Bylaw 2.13.3.2 to Make Restriction Appeals Public Record and to Allow Further Review Would attempt to create a new appeals process that is otherwise not documented
Ov. 10-33 To Amend Bylaw 2.10.3 to Allow District Presidents to Share Issues Prior to Installation Overture incorrectly refers to Bylaw 2.10.3, which refers to only ordination and initial calls and not all calls as implied by the overture
