Personal Statement

It’s easy for the church to feel besieged by the world. Thank God we stand on the confessional Lutheran shoulders of those who went before us! My hope for the Synod is that we will hold onto our identity in worship and intentional evangelism, as those washed in the blood of the Lamb and sent to bear witness to Christ and Him crucified. In these gray and latter days, I am eager to cultivate greater cooperation among pastors and congregations, honoring one another’s ministries and looking for faithful ways to share resources for the sake of proclaiming Christ.

Pause and Pray at 3:07 p.m.

At 3:07 each day, remember John 15:7 and pray for Christ's Church, the convention, our leaders, and the work of the Gospel among us.
