Personal Statement

I was born and raised a Lutheran on Chicago’s Southside. As a matter of conscience, I left the ELCA before finishing seminary and transferred to CTSFW . I have seen the moral rot and theological degradation that comes from ignoring God’s Word. It is undeniable that the culture around us can be hostile to our faith. However, we have been given the message of eternal truth and salvation in Jesus Christ to proclaim to the world. Whether it be by exercising oversight or through encouragement, our leaders should guide the Synod to be faithful and fearless. If chosen to serve as Great Lakes

Region Vice-President, I would be ready and honored to do so. May

God grant strength and wisdom to all those chosen to serve our Synod.
