After 10 humbling years gone like a flash, there’s not been a slow day. In addition to the above, we’ve, to meet Synod’s changing needs, steadily adapted processes and technology and, each triennium, supported major efforts (including, this time, the circuit requirements task force, evaluation and revision of higher education governing documents, and study of parish service). More importantly, we’ve tried to hold constantly before everyone the common commitments and aims adopted by the convention, and to prepare the convention wisely to adjust them, that we may ever more hold our confession not only in word but in truth and doing. This is a demanding and essential post, near the front for many challenges. It has been an honor to serve.
