Personal Statement

“I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” (Rom. 1:16). The Gospel! God’s Good News of Christ crucified and risen for you. The “you” is you and your neighbors near and far. Are we as a Synod going to move forward together confidently and joyfully with this Good News? Will we be on the move while standing firm on God’s life-giving Word and on the Lutheran Confessions because they are in accord with the Word of God? This defines the kind of leader Iwant to be and the kind of church body to which I want to belong.
