Personal Statement

I am humbled and honored to be nominated to serve our Synod. It is with great joy that I continue to hold to the words from Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” In an ever-changing world, how important it is to remember that our God does not change. He remains our loving God, who has blessed us with salvation in the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus! As His servants, we are privileged to bring this sacred truth to a world in desperate need to hear it and receive it as the only hope for peace and true life. To the glory of God!

Personal Statement

With the life-giving Word and our confession of faith, the people of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod are empowered by the Holy Spirit to share the Good News of Christ Jesus crucified and risen for us and for our salvation in order to nurture Christians and to reach out to others. Saved by God’s grace through faith on account of Christ, we rejoice in our Baptism into Christ as the Spirit gathers us to hear the Word and receive the Lord’s Supper so that, forgiven and restored, we may proclaim the Lord’s excellencies to all as we anticipate Christ’s return.
