Neil Spencer Vanderbush, San Antonio, TX; Messiah, Boerne TX (TX); LCMS 26; Sr. Pastor. S: U.S. Army Chapl. 3. C: Pastor 18, Church Planter, Campus Min. 4. O: U.S. Marine Corps 6, Electro-Mechanical Tech./Maintenance 3.

LCMS congregations need faithful, well-educated, and capable men and women to serve as called workers in service to Christ. Fidelity to the Word of God and the Lutheran Confessions, in the spirit and culture of those who gave Concordia its name, is foundational to its very being and future. We need a university committed to our church and to being a safe haven for our young men and women in pursuit of a Christ-centered education. As an alum of Concordia University Austin (’03), my hope is that CTX can be what was only a dream over a century ago.

Pause and Pray at 3:07 p.m.

At 3:07 each day, remember John 15:7 and pray for Christ's Church, the convention, our leaders, and the work of the Gospel among us.
