To Encourage Raising Up Public Servants 
WHEREAS, Our Lord commands us to pray for those who serve 
in public office: “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, 
intercessions, and thanksgiving be made for all people, for kings 
and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and 
quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.  This is good and it is 
pleasing in the sight of God our Savior.” (1 Tim. 2:1–3); and 
WHEREAS, Our Lord commands us to respect these levels of 
government: “Let every person be subject to the governing

Pause and Pray at 3:07 p.m.

At 3:07 each day, remember John 15:7 and pray for Christ's Church, the convention, our leaders, and the work of the Gospel among us.
