Personal Statement

I love The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod and her theology, history, and fellowship. I am blessed to serve as the sole pastor of a vibrant congregation in small-town Minnesota. As such, I have firsthand knowledge of both the blessings and the challenges that the great majority of our LCMS pastors and congregations face. Ihave also had the privilege of serving the broader church as a district vice-president for ten years and as a vicarage supervisor for the past three years. These experiences have given me a great appreciation for the vital role that both district and Synod play in our life together. If elected, I would serve the Synod, her congregations, and her church workers with joy to the very best of my abilities.
