Personal Statement

“Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them” (Rom. 12:6). It’s an honor to have received sufficient nominations to be placed, once again, on the ballot for First Vice-President of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.

The vote of confidence is humbling. I’ve enjoyed serving as First Vice-President for the past seven years and would very much welcome an opportunity to continue in that role, building on my work of the last two triennia and supporting the able and faithful leadership of our current Synod President.
