As the father of a CUW graduate, as a pastor who presently serves with a number of CUW graduates and encourages students to attend there, and as a churchman with a vested interest in a thriving CUWAA, I am honored to be considered for the Board of Regents. We have a responsibility to present and future generations to maintain and grow a Concordia University Wisconsin with a strong biblical and confessional backbone. That is, a CUWAA education should be an opportunity for students to prepare for their churchly, family, and civic vocations with the faithful administration—and teaching—of Christ’s Word and Sacraments at the center of their academic and cultural life.
