Brian Takashi Yamabe, Campbell, CA; Shepherd of the Valley, San Jose CA (CNH); LCMS 20; Prin. Software Engineer. S: CUP BOR 3. C: Cong.

Secy. 12, Elder 12. O: Podcast Editor, Software Devel. 30.

Having served as regent at Concordia University Portland and as a 2010 LCMS convention delegate, Iunderstand this role’s responsibility. My 10 years on my congregation’s board of elders, study of Synod documents, and theological work alongside LCMS clergy have grounded me in the Synod’s mission. My 30 years in technology have shown me that the church must lead—not react—on AI and emerging technology, and I believe CUI is well positioned to guide the LCMS in doing so. My daughter attends CUI, where I have seen how a Lutheran

education grounded in the Gospel and the Confessions shapes

students for lives of faith and service.

Pause and Pray at 3:07 p.m.

At 3:07 each day, remember John 15:7 and pray for Christ's Church, the convention, our leaders, and the work of the Gospel among us.
