In our current generation of cultural wasteland, Concordia Seminary has a joyful task of teaching our Lord’s doctrine to men who will serve as pastors and to deaconesses. To teach these students of our Lord’s Word to discern society’s pathologies and, more importantly, to hear sinners confess their sins, all in order to speak the Lord’s forgiving, justifying Word, is the great trust given the Seminary. If chosen in convention, I would be honored to serve.
